Barry Mitchell for Big Cheese!

About This Campaign

Hello Friends! I have joined this year's contest to become Wilkes Habitat for Humanity's 2018 Big Cheese in Wilkes County. Each contestant in this friendly competition is asked to raise at least $500.00 between March 15th, 2018 and May 15th, 2018, and the contestant who raises the most funds for Habitat will crowned The 2018 Big Cheese in Wilkes County!

Wilkes Habitat for Humanity is breaking ground on 4 new homes this year, and this campaign is part of Habitat's efforts to fund the next group of homes that will be purchased by even more hard working local families in the coming years. Wilkes Habitat is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization that creates affordable shelter in partnership with hardworking Wilkes County families.

Habitat homebuyers contribute over 250 hours of “sweat equity” and time in homebuyer education courses before earning their opportunity to purchase an affordable Habitat home at cost, with a 0% interest mortgage. Through our work and your gifts, we can make home ownership a reality for people who might not otherwise be able to afford safe, decent housing.

Please help me in my efforts to become the next Big Cheese in Wilkes County. Thank you for your support!

Campaign to Support Wilkes Habitat for Humanity

Wilkes Habitat is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Wilkes Habitat is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes. Habitat was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
